Your Comprehensive First Visit
Your initial consultation at Aloha Dental Specialty Center typically lasts about 60-90 minutes. During this time, we will:
- Review Your Medical History: Understanding your overall health, medications, and any conditions is crucial for safe oral surgery
- Listen to Your Goals: We want to understand what you hope to achieve—replacing missing teeth, eliminating dentures, or restoring full function
- Perform a Surgical Evaluation: Dr. Ostovar will examine your bone structure, gum tissue, remaining teeth, and jaw anatomy
- 3D CT Imaging: Advanced cone beam CT scanning provides precise measurements of bone density, height, width, and nerve/sinus locations for safe implant planning
- Assess Bone Quality: We determine if you have adequate bone for implants or if bone grafting will be needed first
- Discuss Treatment Options: Review whether single implants, All-on-4, full mouth reconstruction, or implant dentures best fit your situation
- Create a Surgical Plan: Receive a detailed treatment plan including procedure steps, timeline, sedation options, and complete cost breakdown
- Answer All Questions: We'll ensure you understand the entire process and feel confident moving forward
