IV Sedation Monitoring

Our IV sedation suite includes continuous monitoring of blood oxygen saturation, heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and end-tidal CO2. Dr. Ostovar is IV sedation certified and maintains advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) training. Emergency airway equipment and reversal agents are immediately available.

Patient safety during sedation is not negotiable. Our monitoring protocols exceed the minimum requirements set by the Oregon Board of Dentistry.

Our office uses Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) for implant planning and diagnostic review. Three-dimensional imaging supports more accurate treatment planning for implant and endodontic cases compared to traditional 2D X-rays.

Multi-Disciplinary Team Under One Roof

Our team includes a board-certified endodontist (Dr. Aki Take), a pediatric dentist (Dr. Richard Hsu), and three general dentists (Dr. Merat Ostovar, Dr. Jovan Gvozden, Dr. Derek Youngblood). Many cases that would otherwise require multiple offices can be coordinated here.

Sedation options including IV sedation are available for qualifying patients. Complex oral surgery cases that fall outside general-dentist scope are coordinated with referring oral & maxillofacial surgeons.
